Dr Katja Lindemann MD started her medical career in nursing 30 years ago and for the last 20 years has been working in several different countries in the field of Pediatrics and Pediatric Psychiatry. From an early age she was exposed to different cultures and languages, where she experienced the significance of inclusion and respect for elders.
Her own experiences with adversity and challenges faced both professionally and personally, have led her to emphasize the importance of connectedness within family and the community. She now enjoys living in the tranquil countryside in the southern part of Australia, where she continues her medical work treating and passionately advocating for vulnerable young people and their families.
Having worked as a Specialist Medical Doctor and as a Director on several Boards at top-level positions in a male-dominated industry for many years, she now centers her attention on supporting and mentoring other women facing challenges to fulfill their career aspirations. She loves to hear from readers.
